New laptop, who dis

The time has finally come to upgrade my work machine. After a helpdesk ticket and a bit of waiting I got my hands on a new MacBook Pro with 16" display. First time using the bigger MacBooks and the screen is absolutely massive, compared to my old 13" laptops. Works great, incredibly fast, looks nice. Quite heavy though. Overall, it's a beast.

However, one of the issues with having a new laptop is the need to move all your shit from the old one. And having worked at the same place for over 4 years, my old machine has accumulated a ton of junk. So, with the help of an 32GB SSD I set to work earlier today and after some unreasonable amount of hours has successfully moved most of the things I need. So, in theory, I should be ready to be productive starting next week!

Despite that, I'm fairly certain that come Monday I will suddenly discover that something critically important is missing. I am already mentally prepared for the fact that I am going to come into the co-working space in the morning, set my workspace up, unpack, grab a coffee, and set to work. Just to realize that I forgot to install some minor but absolutely critical thing that I require in order to do my job.

Oh well, at least I will not be surprised.

This post is part of the #100days project, where I try to write a post a day. Today is #day29

P.S. If somebody would be reading my posts every day, they would notice that I don't post as regularly as I'm supposed to. By the rules of my 100 days project, I need to make a post on this website every day for a 100 days. I'm afraid I kinda slacked out a bit in the past week and could not keep the regular cadence. I apologize. The only things left to do now is pick up where I left off and power through.
